I am THAT Mom...Week 10

...Oh Grey girl, 2 1/2 months!! My.Oh.My. We fall more in love every single day...Here are your weekly highlights and pictures...

• We had your first sleepover at GiGis! It went great...of course, how could it not when we're with GiGi!? Mommy went to a shower while GiGi and Aunt Min watched you.
• You are still sleeping through the night, waking up anywhere from 5-6:45, with an occasional 4am thrown in. Sometimes you want to eat, other times you are just switching sleep cycles and are not able to fall back asleep. So, sometimes I nurse you for a few minutes, other times I let you fuss for a bit until you fall back asleep.
• You LOVE to suck on your hand, as I've mentioned before. We started to leave one of your arms out of your swaddle during naps and nighttime for two reasons. 1. You can easily suck your hand when you lose your paci (b/c we do not put the paci back in). and 2. We are working on transitioning you out of the swaddle...slowly...because we know you can't stay in it for forever!
• Now that you have really started looking around, studying things, and interacting more, you have decided you like your swing, bouncer, and even your car seat!
• You still HATE tummy time. It is so hard to make you do it, but we are persevering. You fuss at first and eventually it turns into shrill screams. We try to get you to do it for 5 minutes at least 3 times a day, but it's hard! 
• You have great head control, and really have since you were born, but now you seem to hold your head up on your own a lot! 
• You've discovered your toes and you love to look at your feet and move them. I'm not so sure you understand that they are connected to your body though!
• You are eating about 6-7 times a day right now. And from the bottles you took while mommy had to work 2 days last week, you eat about 4 ounces a feed. 
• Yes, mommy had to leave you 2 days in a row last week to go to training. GiGi watched you one day, and TuTu, your nanny, watched you the other. Both days went well. Pumping is no fun in the back of my car, but I make it work! It is so hard to spend the day away from you, but it is so reassuring to know you are in good hands and being loved on by people who care so much about you!
• You went from hating diaper changes to LOVING them! You smile and talk the most during your changes. You love to just have your diaper off!

 We had friends over and utilized the fireplace for some good s'more makin'. Your friend Timothy and Charlotte showed us how it's done. By the way, Charlotte, LOVES you! You slept for the party but we brought you out so she could give you goodnight kisses!
