Oh my sweet, silly Grey!
I am still not quite sure how two years with you have already passed. These two years have most certainly surpassed any expectation I had of being a parent. You are the joy of my life! You have the most fun little personality- equal parts sweet, sassy, and silly! It is so fun to watch you grow, learn, and become the little lady God created you to be. We love you!

Here are your monthly highlights and pictures:

Size 3 diapers, 12-18 month clothes
22 lbs 12 ounces (20th percentile- you're moving on up!), 33 inches (22nd percentile), and head in the 87th percentile
Your pediatrician is having a baby and moving away!! This is really just for me to remember how incredibly sad we are about this!
Your top left molar is officially through. I don't see any signs of the other 3. You love pointing to your tooth to show everyone! I think this is the first one you're actually aware of!
You HATE bugs. You call all bugs, "buggies". You hate lady bugs, bees, catepillars, and anything small and black that even resembles a bug. They scare you and you will point at them and cry. When you saw a lady bug at Gigi's, you literally trembled in fear. Bless your heart, you are your mother's child in that area.
You also don't like dirt or anything in your bath or on the floor. You want it out or off and will sometimes cry. Again, mother's child. You seem to have a good dose of the Swinehart OCD in you- and all I can say is embrace it- you'll always be organized and clean, and there's nothing better in my opinion!
You started to say love you. You leave off the I and it comes our "Luvshoo". Oh my word, just when I think I couldn't love you anymore. Be careful baby, you're going to make your mommy and daddy's heart burst!
You know all your colors, and will point to them and sometimes repeat them. But you will not just name them on your own. I think you are definitely going to be a slow talker.
You are all about naming people and who stuff belongs to. You see anything that reminds you of daddy and you say his name.
You have started to call dada, daddy.
You finally like sunglasses! We're still working on hats.
You got your first haircut on your birthday. More to come on that! We had to even out the mullet a little!
You've developed some bad habits lately...hitting and telling people to go. We are working on breaking them with healthy doses of timeout. Not sure how well it's working...you cry and don't like it. But sometimes you stay there longer than we ask you to, because you're not ready to talk to us yet.
Your schedule hasn't changed (bed between 7-8, wake at 6:30 on weekdays, 7:30 on weekends, one nap between 12:30 and 1, lasting 2-3 hours.
Love: pankcakes, playing "aw-sie" (outside), playing with friends or cousins, your stuffed monkey and bunny
Hate: after bath routine- you suddenly are against lotion, brushing teeth, etc., when mommy and daddy sing to you in the bath tub, eating anything new, and getting your picture taken (you stink!)
